Working with Friends collectively guides brands and individuals to express their visions with nuance and style.
Creating space for more seats. We cultivate community by listening more than speaking. We like to move at the speed of trust and allow for the uncertainty of the outcome. Bringing thoughtful ideas to the table through business strategy, positioning, product design, marketing and social campaigns.
Friends we’ve worked with recently.
Reese’s Book Club
Mobile App
Reese Witherspoon’s wildly successful bookclub started on Instagram. Her team wanted to broaden its reach. Together we launched Reese’s Book Club, a native mobile app where readers could connect more deeply to the books, authors and community. This was where product design services met project management consulting at it’s finest.
Valincy-Jean Patelli
Visual Artist
Valincy-Jean Patelli came to Working with Friends seeking brand advice to refine the ethos and economics of their emerging studio brand. From brand positioning to traditional marketing efforts, this has been an ongoing collaboration for the last eight years. This long-time partnership is one of the inspirations for starting Working with Friends.
David Zwirner
Art Gallery
At the start of the pandemic, this blue chip art gallery needed a seasoned product expert to shift the in person exhibitions to virtual viewing rooms on DavidZwirner.com. Working with Friends led the effort to accelerate the road map for feature development and delivery on existing digital products.
Sacha Yanow
Performance Artist
Sacha Yanow reached out to Working with Friends to collaborate on a marketing strategy to expand the thinking of who might connect with the performance project, Cherie Dre, and broaden its potential partnerships with arts and cultural organizations. It moved the reach from the solely NYC based performance and art venues and Jewish organizations, to wider audiences, touring venues and cultural contexts.
Naiti Gámez
Film Director
Director, Naiti Gámez, approached Working with Friends to consult on social media strategy. We led the process of vetting potential partners and audience targeting to bring to life a social justice awareness campaign. The goal is to shed light on the unequal treatment of incarcerated women serving life sentences with no parole.
